Driver's Education In
Nantahala, NCAny student living in Macon County, NC between the ages of 14 years and 6 months and 17 years old can register for class on this website under the Register for Classes tab.

NCDOT Requirements For
Students living in Macon County, NC
To be eligible to register for a class session, you must be 14 years and 6 months old by the first day of class.
NC requires students under the age of 18
- to be actively seeking a high school diploma and be a resident of NC
- to complete a 30-hour driver education class
- to complete 6 hours of in-car instruction with a certified licensed instructor
- Schools may charge up to $65 for drivers education.
